Setting high goals and work hard to achieve them. Working hard to achieve your goals is needed. Heard of a saying: you get what you grows. If you grow 10 potatoes, you will get 10 but if you grew none, you will get none back. So, work hard to get what you want instead of just idling around hoping that money will drop from the sky. It will not happened!
Hello
Learning to be gracious. We are in a girls school, so our thinking is like that : Since we are in a girls school, no boys so no need to be so gracious . All girls so they understand how you feel and they also behaves the same as you. Girls also take big steps when they walk, my friend told me that walking a long a straight line and small foot steps shows how feminine are you.We should cross our legs when we sit too. Being in a girls school, we don't really care so what if our legs open very big. All girls here, so afraid of what. That what girls think.... We should also eat a balanced meals comprising of the different things we need like energy-giving food and etc. Exercising is part of our life too. We should exercise 3 times a week to keep fit, but as we are sometimes too busy so we don't care a lot. Thinking that we are already quite fit which is the wrong perception
Hello
Deeply respectful or fearful of God.
Respecting the authority of my parents, teachers and school leaders. They have the rights to control us they sees the world much more than us. We should trust them instead of blaming that they should gives us the choice to make our own decision. Our parents understands us and dotes on us a lot. It's just that we don't appreciate what they had done for us. They discipline us because they did not want us to become bad children. They teach us what's right and what's wrong so that we will not make the right choice. Therefore, we should respect them and be filial to them.

The quality of being just; righteousness, equitableness, or moral rightness: to uphold the justice of a cause.
Treating everyone fairly, regardless of status, race or religious. Being racist is one of the problems people face in other countries. It might happen in Singapore but not many. I cannot treat her better than the other girl just because she's an Indian. What's wrong with her being an Indian? It's wrong? NO! You might also hurt her feeling too. Therefore, we should everybody equally.

"The trouble with the world," said the Master with a sigh, "is that human beings refuse to grow up."
"When can a person be said to have grown up?" asked a disciple.
"On the day he does not need to be lied to about anything."
After reading to this story, I found that I haven't even grow up even though I'm 13 years old this year. I mean I do lie about things like sometimes I never do my assessment books but I told my mum I did. I lied because I'm afraid of getting a scolding. Who likes a scolding? Like a normal person, I don't. Some more, we like already so 'old' ,getting a scolding at this age?! We should be more mature and learn to do things on our own.
What can I apply in real life with this value? Let me think.... ... Responsible for all my actions? Actually, that's what we ought to do though, so not really a problem to me.=)) I will not steal or take things which are not mine. The first thought I thought of is stealing although the word already suggested 'stealing'. Don't think too deeply OK!? I would not even steal even if you give me 1 million US DOLLARS! For goodness sake, who would want to trade their freedom with 1 million US DOLLARS? Idiots or fools do.( My opinion). So my choice NEVER to steal!
Quotations from Alexander Hamilton :
A promise must never be broken.
Ever broke a promise before? I think I did. I mean who never break a promise before? A few people only that's what I think. =P Most people have heard of the phrase contradicting to what Alexander Hamilton said, "Promises are meant to be broken" Sometimes I think that i agree with what Mr Alexander Hamilton says but sometimes promises are meant to be broken are also quite true. You promise somebody somebody, you must fulfill your responsibility no matter what. It concerns about how the person trusts you and your character.
Hello
A dear old lady was asked what she used to make her complexion so beautiful and her whole being so bright and attractive.
She answered:
"I use for my lips, truth
I use for my voice, kindness
I use for my ears, compassion
I use for my hands, charity
I use for my figure, uprightness
I use for my heart, love
I use for any who do not like me, prayer."
After reading this, I feel that I'm so so UGLY! With my lips, I lied sometimes. With my voice, I speak sarcastic words to other people sometimes. As for my ears, compassion? Not really sure about it. My hands, I do use it SOMETIMES only for charity. My figure( I don't really have a figure. Haha... ...), not really sure. My heart for love, I do love the person with all my heart( not a boy!) like my family and friends. I'm not a Christian or Catholic so I don't really pray much... ...
I learn to cherish my family and friends, and myself too. Not using the pen-knife to cut myself... ... I really don't understand bringing pain to yourself can help to distress.I do cherish my family a lot. I love them and they love me. They are my closest people to turn to when I had any difficulties.
Hello
Freedom is the right to do what you want without being controlled or restricted by anyone.
Everyone in the world has the legal right to choose, express themselves, this is also known as the freedom of speech.
Freedom:
Freedom wins freedom falls.
Wisdom out lives it all.
Running pushing all the time.
This freedom yours this freedom mine.
By: Roy Storey
Doesn't this poem rhymes? I think it does Having the freedom to speak sometimes it can be good sometimes it can be bad. Using it to hurt other people's feelings it's definitely wrong! Did your words ever go through your mind when it came out of your mouth? I don't most of the times =P, but I don't go hurting people feelings all the time with my freedom of speech.
